ABOUT ME

Hi there - I am a 2nd year PhD Student at Michigan State University studying Political Science with a focus on Public Policy. I am also part of the Michigan Interdisciplinary Training in Education and Social Sciences (MITTENSS) IES pre-doctoral fellowship. I obtained my B.A. at the University of Tampa, where I fell in love with education policy and lobbied for increased state funding for Florida undergraduate students. My research centers on homeschooling and school choice policy, school finance reform, courts as alternative policymaking venues, and education interest groups. When I’m not working, I enjoy baking, hiking, and volunteering at the local historical village.
